Greymatter weimaraners is a small kennel run by Rachael and Ed Hunt. We both work as small animal veterinarians and share our lives with four beautiful grey girls, a small red rocket (working cocker spaniel) and our three children in the Canterbury region in New Zealand. Our girls actively compete in agility, and rally obedience. During the season they enjoying duck shooting, and upland game (pheasant & quail) hunting.

Our goal is to breed weimaraners with a biddable temperament, strong hunting instincts, and an athletic lighter build. We like our weimaraners to be of high energy that enjoy training and work but are good at relaxing at home so they are great to live with as an integral part of the family.

Although we love all weimaraners our main focus is the longhaired weimaraner as after many years of owning both coat types we find the longhair suits our family life, interests and hobbies best whilst still being easy care coat.
